We are a growing company! Little Cakes Kitchen has 2 Vista locations and we are primarily hiring for Main St, but have some availability at our S. Santa Fe Ave. location as well. We are looking for someone who is available part time, 10-20 hours per week, many shifts available, but closing shifts will be required (12:30pm-8:30).

Overview

Greet, welcome, and connect with customers. Maintain service quality standards by delivering premium guest service and treating each guest as a VIP. Anticipate customer needs and provide tailored suggestions. Handle all customer transactions in an efficient, professional and competent manner. Perform customer service tasks and other duties as instructed by Bakery Manager.

Responsibilities

Maintain positive customer and team relations by living company values

Deliver premium customer service according to steps of service and standard operating procedures

Take and hand out customer orders with attention to detail and accuracy

Answer questions about daily/custom offerings and pricing with confidence

Perform shifts as scheduled to open and close the bakery

Perform dishwasher duties as needed

Assist baker team as needed

Ensure all food is prepared, handled and stored according to all required food safety code standards

Qualifications

One year of experience in a customer service environment preferred

Previous food handling experience in either the hospitality or food and beverage industry a plus

Attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to safely utilize all bakery equipment

Frequent walking, kneeling, bending and reaching overhead

Able to stand for extended periods of time

Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds

High school diploma or GED required

Must be able to speak, read and write English

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
