Job Title: Bakery Associate

Status: Part-time; Hourly

Job Summary: The Café Bakery Associate at the Blue Butterfly Cafe promotes the mission of the Trim Healthy Mama lifestyle and partners with Management to create a vibrant guest experience at the Fort Worth café. The Cafe Baker is well spoken, energetic, enthusiastic, & a fast learner. We have a team-oriented work environment at our Camp Bowie Fort Worth location and need individuals who are motivated to excel and to provide our customers with high quality Trim Healthy Mama baking and cooking.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and prepare all baked goods and other menu items as required by the business. Cooking, overseeing cooking prep in addition to bakery operation
• Prepare, clean and organize ingredients for use in the kitchen
• Create THM recipes from scratch and ensure the kitchen is clean and always sanitized
• Coordinate with the lead baker and other staff members (including management)
• Maintain up to date knowledge about pastry arts and ingredients and carry out administrative duties to maintain an efficient work environment

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience working as a baker in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Sugar Free / Gluten Free Experience a Plus, but Not Required.
• Sourdough and/or Pizza Knowledge a Plus.
• Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately and good knowledge of pastry arts.
• A good sense of planning and preparation for the day ahead with a diligence in making and receiving orders. Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Punctual and disciplined to ensure optimal work performance.
• Physically able to stand for long hours every day in a kitchen.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays. Sunday off.
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security
• 1+ year of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers.
