Wage: $15.00 / hr

Position Objective: Ensure practices are being followed in support of the food safety program; maintain equipment; keep bakery area neat and orderly. Efficiently produce large quantities of bakery products each day. Primary production processes are panning up dough, shaping/scoring dough, proofing, and baking, topping, sheeting, frying of donuts, pastries, and breads. Primary packaging processes are panning up finished products by store category as well as packaging retail packs, boxes, printing labels, etc.

Role Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass all competency tests.
• Must have at least a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Communication skills necessary to produce food products in a safe and efficient manner.

• Maintain systems and procedures for packaging and ship bakery/food products
• Ability to effectively operate all equipment required by position assigned

Preferred Experience:

• Must have bakery/food service related experience.
• Certified food handler

Reporting to this position: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands and work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for prolonged periods; work longer than eight (8) hour shifts, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch; talk and hear; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
