Job description

As a Banquet Captain you will be responsible for making sure the servers are:

• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
• Setting up event properly
• Carrying plates of food on trays and serving guest.
• Keep glasses filled
• Removing each round of plates and replenish utensils

You will be responsible for reading the Banquet Event Orders correctly and scheduling the proper amount of servers and set-up persons.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous waitress, waiter or banquet server experience requires
• Ability to follow directions
• Excellent customer service skills
• All banquet servers must provide their own uniform which consists of a white tuxedo shirt, black bow tie, black pants, black socks and black shoes.

Language Ability:

You must be able to speak, read and write English properly as to communicate with

Math Ability:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Must be able to work weekends, holidays, nights and overtime.
