The Bartender’s role is to share their passion for beer, Cocktails and provide a phenomenal customer experience to all guest of the Axe House Tavern. The Bartender will be responsible for maintaining knowledge of all beers that are offered on tap as well as all cocktails that are offered at the Axe House Tavern. Demands will vary, with the position encompassing all facets of customer interaction from the moment they arrive until they depart our facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Make certain all procedures, equipment needs and safety protocols are met.
• Share knowledge of on tap beers and cocktails with guests.
• Maintain a clean and neat facility.
• Practice proper food handling and safety.
• Maintenance kegs, bar area, taps, and social/ dining area.
• Be an ambassador for The Axe House Tavern and represent the brand.
• Help create a team environment, encourages others at every opportunity.
• TAKES INITIATIVE; doesn't wait for something to happen or to be asked to do something.

Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.

Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• None

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Bartending Experience Preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Must be able to communicate with other team members and guest

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Knowledge and understanding of basic math

REASONING ABILITY

• Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for a long period of time
