Summary of Responsibilities:

The Bartender is responsible for the courteous, efficient, and accurate serving and delivery of meals and drinks to residents in dining areas and bar.; maintains a pleasant atmosphere in Dining Areas and all other areas within the Highlands property. Provides professional service during normal serving times and during special events. Must be able to serve “up” drinks, mixed drinks, and blended drinks, create monthly drink specials and interact well with the population. Knows and follows PLCB rules and regulations. Promotes positive attitude and mentoring services to waitstaff 1 members. Also, when needed training new staff members.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years’ bartender experience in a food service setting such as hotel, restaurant, country club or retirement community (Preferred)
• Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, and familiarity with standard drink recipes

Certification and Licensure Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain an applicable state health and/or alcohol compliance card.
• RAMP Certification (Preferred)
• SERV Safe Certification (Preferred)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.75 - $16.50 per hour
