Bradley Hospital is looking for Behavioral Health Specialists!
Qualified applicants have at least 6 months- 1 year of direct experience working with children/adolescents who need mental health/developmental disability support, and must be comfortable actively engaging with children throughout their shift, as well as assisting with activities of daily living, which can some times include personal care.
Schedule:
Rotating: Mix of day (7am-330pm) and evening (3pm-11:30pm) shifts, with every other weekend.

Responsibilities:
- Participating in the development and operation of the care plan for assigned patients
- Supervising assigned children in daily routines and assisting with activities of daily living
- Demonstrating appropriate critical incident follow-up skills and completing medical record documentation
- Participating in diagnostic conferences, treatment team and rounds and documenting significant patient/family observations
- Identifies, reports, and actively resolves potential/actual problems on the unit
- Coordinating and supervising children’s activities such as physical and social development activities
- Intervenes in disruptive milieu or destructive to self/other patient situations providing timely therapeutic intervention(s)
- Performs other related duties as required, assigned or directed by program managers
Requirements:
- BS degree in a Human Service field preferred, other education and experience will be considered
- Six months to one year of direct childcare work with emotionally impaired youth
