This company has been in business for over 40 years and currently has more than 2,000 stores across 36 states.

Benefits Administrator Summary/Company Information:

• The Benefits Assistant will assist employees with benefit enrollment and claims, dependent eligibility, and life-event verification appeals
• Assist with benefits claims and provide required notices upon termination
• Process leaves of absence including workers' compensation claims, short-term and long-term disability claims, and administer FMLA
• Administer reasonable accommodations processes
• Collaborate with National Contract Services contacts and third party administrators regarding the workers' compensation program and processing customer accidents
• Cooperate and interact through ongoing communication and exchange of information with internal and external contacts including attorneys and government agencies as needed
• Performs general office support and other administrative duties as needed
• Pay starts at $21/hr
• This is a long-term contract anticipated to last for 2-3 years
• The company is hiring immediately!

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Requirements:

• Ideal candidate must have recent office experience
• Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, and keep information confidential
• Effective time managements skills to maximize productivity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to follow instructions, and exhibit a high attention to detail
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Proficiency and accuracy in typing and data entry
• Work well in a fast-paced/professional office both independently and as part of a team
