Position Summary
Essential Job Functions:
This position will be responsible for providing data analysis and data design/development within the LNW Corporate Business Intelligence team. This job will primarily focus on developing interfaces to collect data from various internal systems that will include transactional data, design & develop reliable/accurate/robust processes to share with development and analytics team.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
-
2 + years' of experience with data modeling and database design, and proficiency in SQL.

2+ years' business process and functional experience.
-
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail and a passion for data.
-
Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and experience with tools like SAP DS,SSIS, or Informatica.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
-
Familiarity with BI reporting and visualization tools like Incorta, Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView, and ability to create dashboards and reports for stakeholders.

Basic understanding of data analysis and statistical methods, and ability to work with data scientists to build predictive models and analytics.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, and software engineers.

Familiarity with software development methodologies and version control tools like Git, and experience working in an Agile environment.

Excellent communication and documentation skills, and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Must possess good understanding of Business Intelligence Applications

Experience with a variety of implementations in a number of different environments

Solid business process skills, able to provide transaction analysis in varying functional areas

Troubleshooting skills and ability to coordinate with systems staff

Customer service acumen

Self-motivated and willingness to work long hours and off-hours

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and technical staff

Applying "best practices" overall, knowing how to use the tool, train users on the tool, and distribute the tool out to users
