Position Summary
Essential Job Functions:
This position will be responsible for providing data analysis and data design/development within the LNW Corporate Business Intelligence team. This job will primarily focus on developing interfaces to collect data from various internal systems that will include transactional data, design & develop reliable/accurate/robust processes to share with development and analytics team.
Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • 2 + years' of experience with data modeling and database design, and proficiency in SQL.
  • 2+ years' business process and functional experience.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail and a passion for data.
  • Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and experience with tools like SAP DS,SSIS, or Informatica.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Familiarity with BI reporting and visualization tools like Incorta, Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView, and ability to create dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of data analysis and statistical methods, and ability to work with data scientists to build predictive models and analytics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, and software engineers.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and version control tools like Git, and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must possess good understanding of Business Intelligence Applications
  • Experience with a variety of implementations in a number of different environments
  • Solid business process skills, able to provide transaction analysis in varying functional areas
  • Troubleshooting skills and ability to coordinate with systems staff
  • Customer service acumen
  • Self-motivated and willingness to work long hours and off-hours
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and technical staff
  • Applying "best practices" overall, knowing how to use the tool, train users on the tool, and distribute the tool out to users
