SteppingStone Day School, Inc., established in 1983, is a large, private, not for profit preschool agency serving young children with and without disabilities. Our mission is to provide collaborative evaluation, education, therapy and family support services so that young children can develop to their full potential and with their families and friends as members of the community.

We are currently looking for a temporary Bilingual Receptionist to complete the day to day activities involving reception/office work responsibilities

Responsibilities

· Answer phones

· Direct callers to appropriate person

· Answer questions regarding our program

· Direct callers to voicemail when staff is not available

· Relaying messages in Spanish for some staff members

· Monitoring the persons that are entering and leaving the building

· Directing parents and family members to appropriate staff

· Announcing family members to appropriate staff

· Receiving mail (UPS, FEDEX),signing for packages

· Alerting supervisors of any questionable people or incidents

· Alerting maintenance of general building inspectors

· Alerting maintenance of shipments being delivered

· Alerting maintenance of any incidents in the building (children vomiting, toilets overflowing, clean ups of any sort).

· Labeling and relabeling mailboxes and folders for staff

· Distributing general or specific memos and mail to staff via mailboxes

· Alphabetizing children' s paperwork for filing

· Reviewing session notes for signatures from the Therapists

· Label and organize file folders for quarterly's and annuals

· Alphabetize emergency cards

· Occasionally shred papers and make copies

· List staff and children absences

Hours- 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
