Due to our recent growth, we have an in-office opening for a Billing Clerk at our Corporate Headquarters in Newark.
This is an excellent opportunity to advance your Operational and Logistics career in an exciting, fast-paced environment. This Monday – Friday position is responsible for billing but may assist with a variety of administrative and customer service duties as related to the daily operations of the terminal.
Responsibilities:
- Process billing timely and accurately in billing systems
- Review files and paperwork for accuracy
- Provide support to Terminal Managers to assure Operational efficiency
- Audit orders and resolve discrepancies
- Work with the Rating Team as needed to review and capture correct rates
- Maintain customer account details for accurate billing
- Review error reports ensuring successful portal submission
- Run weekly reports as requested
- Experienced in transportation and logistics
- Microsoft Excel Proficient
- Willing to be flexible based on business needs
- Detail-oriented and comfortable learning and using multiple software systems, such as Profit tools, TMW, Roadvision, Great Plains
