JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

In this role, you will be responsible for providing daily support to the Reliant Gases Management, Sales and Distribution teams and will work closely with the Reliant Holdings Billing and Collection teams. You will play a critical role in ensuring the effective communication and coordination among the various Reliant Gases teams, timely and accurate billing, and efficient management of customer accounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to.

· Providing daily support to the Reliant Gases Management and Sales team and the Reliant Holdings Billing and Collection teams.

· Researching accounts for disputes and aging discrepancies.

· Analyzing customer aging reports and working with the Reliant Holdings Collection Specialist, Management and Sales Team, and others to research and resolve credit and collection issues.

· Facilitating meetings and assisting with internal and external communications.

· Documenting daily collection activity.

· Conducting weekly collections meetings with Corporate Collection Specialists to ensure progress is continually made in reducing past due accounts.

· Establishing a report documenting customers who are chronically late with payment.

· Conduct activity relating to new account set up (gather pricing, delivery information, and contact information for billing/collections).

· Ensuring that customers’ payment status and trends are communicated with the appropriate Reliant Gases personnel, suggesting next steps if necessary.

· Ensuring effective communication and coordination among teams, timely and accurate billing, and efficient management of customer accounts.

· Calculation and implementation of quarterly Fuel Surcharges.

· Collect, organize, and record purchase orders from customers.

· Maintaining established reports and assisting in creating new reports.

· Processing business credit applications

· Other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, detail-oriented team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. They will possess analytical skills, attention to detail, high accuracy, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and customer service skills, a solutions-focused mindset, and flexibility are also essential.

Additionally, strong candidates will possess:

· Strong analytical ability and aptitude with numbers; ability to work with and manipulate large quantities of data, as well as compute rates, ratios, percentages, and fractions.

· High standards of quality and accuracy in preparing reports.

· Ability to prioritize, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Good communication (written and verbal) skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Customer service/solutions focused mindset.
  • Must be self-starting, flexible, willing to learn new processes, energetic, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS

· Preferred primary work location either Denver, CO or Pampa, TX.

· Regularly requires sitting at a computer screen for extended periods of time.

· Frequently requires analyzing and interpreting data and extended focus.

· Mental requirements include the ability to read, write, reason, problem solve and perform mathematical calculations.

Desired Experience: Associated Degree and 2-4 years of related experience preferred.
