Clinic: Madden & Gilbert Physical Therapy
We are a high thriving outpatient physical therapy Central Billing Office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and we are currently seeking a Billing Specialist to perform billing, re-billing, and collections. The ideal candidate should have current or previous experience working in a healthcare office environment.

Job Duties:
- Answering phones
- Appealing claims for reimbursement
- Verifying patient benefits
- Obtaining insurance authorizations and referrals
- Sending claims, posting payments, appeals, accounts receivable
- Processing medical record requests
- Re-bill, upload, and correct claims in the clearinghouse
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Experience in a billing office and or medical clinic setting, insurance follow-up, and coding and verification
- Experienced in working with a large volume of medical electronic billing, collections, all aspects of the accounts receivable cycle, and insurance coding and verification preferred
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Previous experience with medical software required
- Team player attitude, energetic, able to multi-task, with a focus on excellent customer service
- Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills
