The Finance Team is looking for a Billing Analyst who will be responsible for generating accurate customer invoices in a timely manner. The Billing Analyst will report to the Billing Team Lead and will partner with other members of the Finance team and other internal teams to research and respond to customer billing inquiries.

We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate strong attention to detail and communication skills in both the day-to-day invoice processing and in ad-hoc analysis tasks. You must be a proactive individual who is analytical, organized, and a self-starter. Experience working for a software or SaaS company is preferred.

Position Duties:

• Generate and process accurate and timely invoices to customers
• Review contracts, invoices, and customer accounts
• Preparing billing files to support invoices
• Processing credit memos
• Preparing account statements to customers
• Research internal and external customer inquiries and provide problem resolution using the most up-to-date information, technology, and resources
• Fully understand the invoicing processes and contract terms and their impact on the overall business
• Assist in developing and implementing potential process and systems enhancements to create efficiencies
• Assist with collection efforts and ad hoc requests as needed

Skills and Experience:

• Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
• 2 -4 years accounting experience specializing in billing in a SaaS environment preferred
• Knowledge of Salesforce and NetSuite a plus
• Knowledge and understanding of SaaS business model a plus
• Experience with financial contracts and comfortable with contractual language
• Attention to detail and deadline oriented
• Analytical skills with the ability to multitask
• Experience with PC and Microsoft Office applications
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel (Comfortable and familiar with VLOOKUP’s and Pivot Tables)
• Capable of adapting to changing environment (i.e., organization, technological, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal skills required with a focus on customer support
• Holds self and others accountable for results
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote work environment

This position may be performed remotely from the Eastern and Central time zones within the United States except in the State of Colorado.
