DESCRIPTION
Michael Baker International seeks a BIM Designer for our Phoenix, AZ office group. This individual will be responsible to provide building structural REVIT and AUTOCAD support for the structural technical team. In this role, the successful candidate will support the structural engineers by providing project BIM and CADD production and leadership on complex projects, participate in quality control reviews, and be prepared to assist designer of record on numerous projects. The candidate will also coach and mentor less experienced structural designers, CAD and BIM staff.

• The majority of your day would be spent working as part of a Structural Engineering project team for the modeling or drafting of buildings and other structures of various types.
• Buildings - Detailing Concrete, masonry, wood, and steel structures
• Daily communication with the Project Engineer or Project Task Leader on key issues and project progress.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

An Associate's degree and 5 years of BIM and CAD experience - minimum.

The ability to communicate and effectively participate as part of an engineering team is critical.

Must be available during working office hours - collaboration with the engineers and other discipline highly critical.

Proficient in the use of REVIT and AutoCAD.

Be able to prioritize, track and maintain records of elements, costs and time schedules for multiple projects and to work accurately and efficiently in production under tight deadlines.

In-person/in-office is preferred.

Experience with the delivery of plans for projects per IBC/UFC requirements is a plus.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $56,886 - $108,527. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
