Pacific Biomedical, Inc. is a privately owned medical equipment distribution and service company located in Folsom, CA. We need an experienced Biomedical Technician I to support our equipment repair and maintenance division. This person will provide on-site equipment service, preventative maintenance, and equipment inspections to our customers in the central United States. This position will be based in the Charlotte and/or Atlanta area.

This is a full-time position that includes significant travel and is primarily remote. This position is benefits eligible after a probationary period and includes paid time off, performance-based bonuses, and a great work environment.

Responsibilities include:

-Travel to the ground and air ambulance bases in the central and eastern United States for planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections on a broad range of patient care and support equipment in compliance with manufacturer standards, including emergency ventilators, patient monitors, and infusion pumps

-Document all service actions taken in our work order management system, including serial numbers, specific repairs completed, equipment status, and location details

-Document all significant asset-related actions with a high level of detail

-Answer general questions and provide professional, friendly customer service to end users at base locations

A highly successful person in this position will have the following:

-Associates degree, BMET, or higher in electronics/biomedical equipment technology

-1 to 3 years of experience servicing clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital or EMS environment

-Ability to work independently with some supervision

-Great organization and time management skills

-Working knowledge of computer applications in order to complete work orders for our customers

-Ability to troubleshoot issues with equipment and resolve errors

Pay: $49,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
