We are hiring a Bookkeeper for this Non-Profit food bank in Spokane Valley, WA. If you have a passion for helping the community stay fed, and you are an experienced bookkeeper, we want to talk with you! Responsibilities for the Bookkeeper

• Manage and develop all aspects of the Emergency Food Assistance Program (EFAP) for Spokane County including communications with food pantries, invoicing, reconciliations, and all other general duties related to this WA State contract
• Manage and develop other potential new federal and state contracts
• Manage accounts receivable for agency
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Compensation for the Bookkeeper

• PTO, Paid Holidays, and Medical Benefits all available
• $25 Per Hour
• M – F

Requirements for the Bookkeeper

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field is desirable
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3-5 years of applicable bookkeeping/project management experience is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of applicable bookkeeping/project management experience required
• Proficiency in the use of the computer for QuickBooks software and Office 365 software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
