The Skillman Group is an established, full-service, mid-size certified public accounting firm with offices in Troy and Trenton, Michigan. We provide audit, tax, accounting and specialized solutions to a diverse client base. Skillman Group combines our professional competence with a strong concern for our client’s successes, generating new ideas to help them make progress toward their goals.

Experience should include:

• Knowledge of A/R and A/P cycle
• Processing weekly payroll
• Preparing and scheduling of federal and state tax payments
• Quarterly and year end payroll tax returns
• Preparation of W2's and 1099's
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• General ledger experience
• Experience with QuickBooks and other various accounting software with strong Excel skills are needed.
