Full Time Non CDL Truck Driver

We are an expanding company in the Fredericksburg area looking for drivers who want to grow along with us.We are seeking dedicated drivers to join our team! This is a great position for someone who has prior route delivery experience seeking a stable growing company. We have on going training for professional development opportunities for our employees.

The Position:

We are looking for reliable non-CDL drivers who are concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting products in a safe, timely manner. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team. Driving trucks containing various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, dry goods, and supplies) and unloading at stops according to invoices. All functions must be completed in a safe but timely manner in accordance with DOT regulations.

*Driver Responsibilities:

• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.
• Make sure the customer is satisfied and obtain a proper signature.
• Unloading items from vehicles using hand trucks and bringing them into the customers establishment to designated storage areas. This may include transporting freight down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients in a professional manner.
• Collecting and turning in any payments collected though out the day.
• Bringing back and unloading any damaged goods or customer returns.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in the truck. (In the cab and the box)
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Operating 24 ft box trucks.
• Operate a smart phone and ELD tablet.
• Perform post trip responsiblitites : Fill up with fuel and DEF, making sure logs are correct for the day, and securing hand trucks in designated areas.

*Wages:

• $15-$20 an hour during training
• $50 per deim (after training)
• percent of load (after training)

*Requirements:
*

• Two years of box truck driving experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record with no reckless citations or DUI's dating back three years.
• Great customer service.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• Must be at least 22 years of age.
• Applicants are required to submit a copy of their driving history.
• Ability to drive manual transmission is helpful but not required.'

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
