Great Lakes Skilled Trades is a Local Trade Contractor that services the commercial, industrial, and residential industries. We work with local contractors on projects from multi-family housing to restaurant chains, medical facilities, factories, office buildings, distribution centers, and more. GLST is a growing company, and we are looking to expand our workforce with quality-driven tradespeople looking for steady work and career growth!We Offer:

Our projects typically consist of the following tasks:
*
Builds walls, fences, walkways, roads, and other structures using bricks, stone, concrete blocks, or marble.
*
Carves out and builds structures and surfaces with bricks or concrete blocks.
*
Places brick or concrete blocks on a mortar bed.
*
Cuts or saws bricks to fit around windows and doors.
*
Measures distances to layout work.
*
Mixes mortar and grout to be used to lay brick.
*
Spreads mortar onto brick or block surface with a trowel.
*
Examines brickwork to ensure the structure is built correctly.
*
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
*
Minimum of 3-6 months of experience
*
Reliable transportation
*
Basic hand tools
*
Self-Starter – Able to work with and without supervision
*
Able to take direction
*
Possess a Safety-First Mindset
