Budget Analyst
Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
Job Description
- Serves as a Budget Analyst
- Provide program management related to:
- Costs
- Financial & Accounting Services
- Budgeting
- Provide financial management support for PEO IEWS HQ
- Formulation of budgets
- Justification of budgets
- Execution of budget
- Utilize GFEBS or other business tools to transition away from legacy financial system
- Coordinate with program managers and comptrollers
- Act as a subject matter expert regarding General Fund Enterprise Business System(GFEBS)
- Author reports such as P-forms and R-forms
- Prepare budget updates & budget data call presentations
- Create funding requests
- Track expenditures
- Capability of compiling data for unanticipated/quick turnaround tasks
- Develop & maintain:
- Monthly reports
- Mid-year reviews
- External status request/reviews
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business
- 4+ Years of experience with the following:
- budget analysis
- finance services
- accounting
- Experience with GFEBS
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000-$100,000
