Job Summary and Opportunity:
Axos Digital is looking for a technical Business Analyst with crypto knowledge to support our software development team on complex, customer-facing integration and UX projects. The Business Analyst plays an important role in the organization by performing several activities related to the company's PMO functions. This position will be primarily responsible, under limited supervision, for acting as the BA on various IT Agile initiatives in accordance with Axos' Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. This role will be responsible for eliciting, documenting, communicating, and storing the functional requirements for projects. 100% Remote is possible, depending upon your location.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring all user stories written by the team follow the criteria which reasonably cover all areas necessary to complete testing
  • Pro-actively analyze and assess current processes to define, document and implement improvements
  • Collaborate with other subject matter experts to identify preferred solutions to current and emerging customer problems by performing a Buy vs Build vs Reuse analysis
  • Work directly with the Project Management Team and Software Development Leads on a regular basis to ensure resources are appropriately applied to projects
  • Spot fill project assignments when there are resource capacity constraints
  • Interface with market development and business development toward the successful execution of the business strategy including acquisitions and/or partnership opportunities
  • Quickly understand and break down complex problems into manageable pieces that can be relatively easily understood by all
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT or Finance field
  • 2+ years' in financial services industry as a business analyst, operations manager, or similar role aligned with business functions
  • Ability to perform multiple projects simultaneously managing competing priorities
