Role Summary

We are searching for an entrepreneurial, highly motivated, and relational Business development lead, who will focus on expanding our Retail book of business. This involves prospecting and engaging new client engagements and strategies primarily in the areas of Analytics, Competitive Intelligence, Customer Experience, Content, CRM campaigns, and Product Data management.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development lead will help acquire new logos for primary US clients in the retail vertical. This involves understanding verticals, clients' needs, and eClerx primarily in the areas of Product Data Management, Analytics, Competitive Intelligence, Customer Experience, Content, SEO, Site Search, and CRM campaigns.

Lead the business development effort and help generate qualified leads for B2B senior management:-

  • Develop and maintain active relationships with key stakeholders in the retail vertical
  • Responsible for generating qualified leads to grow the retail portfolio and grow through developing new relationships, as well as identifying new opportunities to match service capabilities with client needs
  • Work closely with retail vertical leads to close prospective clients
  • Manage project proposals and timelines and deliverables for new account leads
  • Responsible for meeting sales targets, lead generation, and overall portfolio growth
  • Contribute to the development of the retail vertical at eClerx

Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA is preferred
  • Prior experience in eCommerce or retail vertical is preferred
  • Substantial experience in business development, client management, and engagements, selling services & products, account management, consulting services delivery, business intelligence, data warehousing, or similar business areas
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills - the ability to network and earn client confidence and trust
  • Highly motivated, resourceful, and adaptable. Must enjoy constantly learning and taking new challenges
  • Strong domain knowledge of areas such as Product Data Management, CRO, Digital marketing, business insights/business intelligence, including business performance reporting, predictive analytics, web analytics platforms, CRM platforms, channel and vendor analysis, forecasting, data warehousing, data marts, data mining, competitive pricing, and analysis, etc.
  • Applicants must have the right work in the US
