Our company, Vitux AS, is growing rapidly and we are focusing our activities on the North American market. We are hiring a Business Development Manager per immediate. You will report to the Sr. V.P. of Sales and Marketing USA. The position is home-based but requires approx. 30% air travel.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, yet friendly, open-minded and goal directed Business Development Manager, who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment. The Business Development Manager will act as the key link between our company and our customers, being nutraceutical companies and/or brand owners. As a Sales Representative your goal is to maximize sales growth in North America by attracting new customers, optimally managing our current customer database to increase their sales and expand the visibility and awareness of our company’s ConCordix products with existing customers and new markets/channels. You are a team player and will work together with our Chief Scientific Officer and Marketing Director.

Your responsibilities are:
- You accomplish the set sales targets and together with SVP Sales and Marketing develop the sales forecasts for the 2-3- year business plan
- Effective management of the North American accounts and keep detailed records of all contacts through our CRM system. You monitor the sales results by customer and product and implement corrective actions if needed
- You identify new prospects, contact and develop company sales campaigns in close collaboration with the team to improve the customer’s knowledge about ConCordix
- You continuously develop and work on a strong pipeline management
- You keep yourself up to date with the developments/trends in the market and advice strategic directions to take
- You are able to negotiate prices within the limits, set by the company
- Coordinate projects between clients and several internal departments (i.e. R&D, SCM, QA, and production
Qualifications:
- You preferably have minimally 5 years of sales experience and have a proven sales track record
- Experience in the FDMC channel is preferred
- You have excellent communication, negotiation and selling skills
- You are a self-driven sales professional motivated by the opportunity to succeed
- Experience from the nutraceutical business is preferred
- You preferably have a Bachelor- or Masters’ degree, in Business or life sciences
- Location preferably Mid-West to West-Coast
