Description:
The Strategic Business Enablement Manager, will drive metal manufacturing simulation solution portfolio adoption through global business development and enablement of the geographic sales teams.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate in-depth knowledge and understanding of metal manufacturing and process simulation technologies relevant to metal additive manufacturing, forming, welding, joining, and assembly processes
- Manage pre-sales and service projects to advanced solutions and enable customer success
- Develop and manage relationships with key customer technical contacts
- Drive strategic metal manufacturing product strategy by collecting customer requirements and interacting with development team as the “Voice of the customer”
- Investigate new technologies, using critical thinking and problem solving to solve manufacturing simulation challenges using novel approaches
- Travel up to 30% of the time
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 3+ years of experience in sales, business development or similar role
- Experience with various metal manufacturing processes
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, demonstrated comfort speaking in front of large groups
- Ability to work remotely with little direct supervision
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time domestically and internationally without restriction
- Ability to support ITAR restricted projects
- Experience in a customer facing position, supporting direct B2B sales activities
- Experience with design for additive manufacturing
- Experience with automotive body-in-white assembly
- Experience with metal forming and/or welding
- Experience with metal manufacturing process simulation software tools
- Experience with integrated computational materials engineering
- Experience with metrology, including operation of hardware and related software’s
