Position Title: Business Process Analyst
Reports to: Vice President – Professional Services Line of Business
Subsidiary: Leisnoi Enterprise Solutions, LLC
Location: Remote
Job Status: Regular Full -Time
Position Summary:
Leisnoi Enterprise Solutions, LLC has an immediate need for a Business Process Analyst with the ability to support requirements within an Enterprise solution at our client, USDA. A strong skill set for researching, reviewing, developing, and delivering critical process mapping and requirements analysis across the division. Furthermore, the candidate must have experience writing, working, or assisting a Program Management Office to which this gained perspective can be brought to the team during process improvement/mapping. The candidate should be skilled with the Microsoft suite and other industry leading analysis and process mapping tools.
This role receives assignments and reports directly to the Newberry Lead supporting USDA Governance Services Branch (GSD). The position is integral to our success at USDA and providing our client with the most organized and professional team members to meet their expectations.
This is a full-time telework role preferably with the candidate being located within the Ft. Collins, CO; Kansas City, MO; or National Capitol areas.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ability to communicate with division personnel and conduct site observations to ascertain the equipment, methods, and personnel needed for effective processes. This also involves staying up to date with the latest business best practices and technological developments which can automate and streamline processes to help business perform more efficiently.
- Responsible for providing expertise to develop, plan, report and manage deliverable requirements gathering and analysis activities.
- Ability to gather information through process mapping, flow-charting, and workshops. This information can then be used to develop better process engineering.
- Responsible for meeting with USDA teams and carrying out workshops to help staff document any valuable information and to determine the business goals that USDA desires to achieve and work towards.
- Responsible for producing management level summaries; visually descriptive process maps as well as written deliverables and verbiage in common contracting terms from translated requirements.
- Exhibit an understanding of continuous improvement concepts and principles.
- Day to Day Responsibilities
- Review requirements within the PMO and develop processes to add efficiencies into the client branch.
- Facilitate working group sessions to gather the necessary data to complete requirements analysis.
- Provide knowledge of best practices to be incorporated into deliverables.
- Create and present findings as well as metrics to USDA management.
- Work with an existing team to deep dive into USDA GSD processes and provide analysis of collected metrics.
Basic Qualifications and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or other relevant fields.
- 2 to 3 years of experience directly supporting a large corporation/agency or military branch in an IT business analyst/process capacity.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in process mapping and requirements analysis.
- 2 to 3 years of experience with best practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication with internal and external customers to produce presentations and reports on the findings.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Familiar with utilizing analytical programs as well as spreadsheet software and flow-charting tools.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities to think creatively to solve customer challenges, problems, etc.
- Strong critical thinking ability.
- Ability to identify, initiate, manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Exceptional writing capabilities.
- Current ITIL certification.
- Ability to synthesize data from a variety of sources including existing Standard Operating Procedures for USDA GSD.
