Job description
This is a hybrid position. While a majority of the work will be done remotely, the applicant must be able to attend team meetings periodically in-person.
Essential duties/expectations include:
- Serves as back up for the Business System Analyst.
- Serves as a project coordinator for system upgrades, improvements, development, integration, support, and training.
- Evaluates new releases/upgrades to business line systems to determine impact on business.
- Works directly with business line leaders to identify areas of improvement within the business system and coordinates with management to develop project plans to execute system improvements focusing on increasing efficiency.
- Maintains, improves, develops, and tests all functions and processes of the business systems.
- Works closely with system vendors to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Assist management with complex projects related to business systems and reporting.
- Develops tools, processes, job aids and other items to facilitate operational efficiency of all business systems.
- Configure and maintain integration between main ERP system and all business systems, web sites and processes.
- Collects and interprets information from various department database resources.
- Understands and presents data effectively.
- Develops and maintains documentation and reports for use across the organization.
- Maintains, improves, develops, and tests membership related functions of member-facing website to ensure proper functionality.
- Trains the trainers on new system updates.
- Maintains thorough and complete documentation of all system related functions, changes, and updates as they relate to club operations and maintenance of business line systems.
- Attends user group conferences and other related meetings to obtain information for use in the position as needed.
- Demonstrates technical proficiency in learning, configuring, and testing new business systems.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities include:
- Excellent personal computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database)
- Solid knowledge of data analytics and data acquisition
- Data management skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Thorough knowledge working with business line systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to research, analyze and troubleshoot complex systems related problems
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to communicate to all organizational levels with credibility and diplomacy
- Good oral communication skills and ability to make presentations to large groups of people or in one on one conversation
- Be able to multi-task
