The Business Transformation Specialist is responsible for reviewing new and existing processes, resources and systems, and recommending, developing, implementing and overseeing changes to the company infrastructure where necessary.

Essential Functions:
  • Acts as point of contact between different departments within the company and relevant third parties.
  • Assists in developing key workflows of process changes in close collaboration with departments and other stakeholders to ensure service improvement and efficiency savings.
  • Communicates strategies and objectives with relevant departments and colleagues.
  • Identifies risks regarding changes and develops a strategy to overcome or address them.
  • Implements changes sensitively and with minimal disruption.
  • Creates a system to evaluate the success of adjustments made within the organization; presents findings.
  • Assists and supports Directors and Executives in undertaking Business Transformation projects; advises on appropriate business solutions.
  • Where necessary, oversees any information technology (IT) issues.
  • Provides electronic medical record (EMR) oversight and management of tables and construct.
  • Provides EMR support services for staff in the agency.
  • Ensures that business transformation projects are delivered in accordance with the corporate approach to project management, including taking the lead on ensuring quality feasibility studies, business bases, and timelines for the evaluation of the projects.
  • Develops, prepares and implements a customer service strategy which will identify appropriate customer access, enable the monitoring of customer satisfaction and identify changes to service areas required to meet customer need and to coordinate the management of the delivery of complex business transformation projects defined within it.
  • Actively participates in internal and external education, training, in-services and other activities to promote personal and professional growth.
  • Actively participates in activities that promote NorthStar Care Community’s mission in the community.
  • Adheres to organizational Code of Conduct, policies and procedures and all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Adheres to the C.A.R.E. Model of Service: courtesy, acknowledgement, response and empathy.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a health or business-related field required.
  • Five (5) years or more of experience in healthcare required.
  • Detailed background knowledge or hands-on experience relevant to the company.
  • Sound working knowledge of general business processes and organizational framework, such as goals, strategy, culture and structure.
  • Proficient at producing and presenting reports.
  • Proactive and motivated; confident; strong decision making and negotiation skills.
  • Flexible approach to work; the ability to demonstrate innovation and creativity, influence key decision makers, and set and meet objectives.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, leadership skills, sound judgment, effective organizational, prioritization and follow-through skills, attention to detail, tact, dependability, emotional intelligence and the ability to promote positive, constructive relationships with communication and collaboration at all levels and maintain confidentiality.
