PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As a Butler I, you will be responsible for inspecting, preparing and coordinating suites for the guest. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain accurate property information through daily use of talent portal, email and other forms of communication
• Prepare suite prior to guest arrival and coordinate room service set-up with special requirements guest may have
• Provide food and beverage service to designated suites; coordinate orders with Room Service Manager on duty to assure proper order is given and received
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure that rooms are kept in superior condition at all times
• Maintain butler pantry and equipment to be kept up to company standards
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
• Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
• General knowledge of mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate, both in person and over the telephone when dealing with management, employees, and guests
• Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

PREFERRED:

• Experience in gourmet and valet service
