RefrigiWear is looking for a Buyer/Analyst that will oversee inventory demand & procurement processes for select category & product lines supporting the Refrigiwear brand offshore sourcing programs. They will be responsible for conducting inventory demand analysis, managing exceptions while recommending solutions on a daily, weekly monthly basis. This individual will own the integrity of information used to support & recommend buys through each season as well as the relationship with respective vendor(s) and/or manufacture(s).

Primary objective/expectation with this role is to maximize supplier performance capabilities to support & sustain category & overall company growth strategy as the leader in the cold protective gear industry (clothing, footwear, handwear, handwear & accessories).

Responsibilities:

  • Implement plans to ensure all planning & purchases are meeting specified quantity and delivery expectations to maximize overall growth projections while minimizing stock outs.
  • Provide daily maintenance as necessary in ERP, supporting several reports including MRP which is used to analyze & plan production purchases for outsourced manufacturing.
  • Style set up and maintenance in ERP - Description, Supplier, UPC numbers, Weight/Size
  • Responsible for monitoring exceptions, assessing potential inventory exposure while recommending corrective solutions.
  • Monthly Container Planning Monthly update overviews by style/color to assist suppliers with capacity planning
  • Requesting and approving of product UPC / Product labels.
  • Manage and execute all freight movement by working closely with freight forwarding partner.
  • S/he is responsible for monitoring and updating projected forecasts, freight forwarding management from origin to delivery as well as ensuring all related costs are calculated and dispersed accordingly.
  • Establish and maintain rapport with all levels of supplier personnel as well as internal customers, such as customer service, sales, marketing, product development & quality.
  • Handle requests for information such as quotations, and/or proposals.
  • Maintain new product information template to ensure new items are setup accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, manufacturing, and/or related discipline desirable
  • Analytical mind with strong mathematical skills, strong business acumen & attention to details
  • 5+ years related work experience, inventory management/analysis with import/transportation experience
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite ERP and Blue Ridge MRP preferred
  • Microsoft Office (Heavy Excel)
  • Self-starter, problem solver, goal oriented, hyper focused on the details
  • Ideal candidate would contribute an energetic, relentless, high level approach/performance to a team environment
  • Candidate can work out of the North Georgia Headquarters (Dahlonega, Georgia)
