This position is primarily responsible managing procurement of materials to provide an uninterrupted flow of high-quality materials at the lowest landed cost and best delivery. Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Purchases raw materials for production floor, customer service orders
• Complete vendor returns
• Maintain vendor/costing data base
• Print and file purchase orders within ERP System
• Complete cost comparisons
• Acquire new vendors when needed
• Request quotes when necessary
• Vendor evaluations
• Constant checking of lead times, and make adjustments where necessary
• Making sure we secure on time deliveries whenever possible
• Shops for non-inventory items and office equipment

This position reports to the Senior Supply Chain Manager.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Associate degree/ bachelor’s degree preferred; or 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have knowledge of Accounting software; Internet software; ERP software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Knowledge of Microsoft AX desirable.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
