Attention interested Culinary Professionals, the Hyatt Regency Wichita is seeking a Cafeteria Attendant. This is an entry level position with room for growth and development in a banquet kitchen.

The Cafeteria Attendant requires excellent communication skills and the ability to lift, pull, push and carry moderate weight. The ideal candidate for this position will be well organized, committed to providing a quality, safe and hygienic food and beverage experience for our internal guests. Responsibilities include meal preparation, cooking and clean-up; maintaining the cleanliness of the employee cafeteria, ensuring that silverware, condiments, and kitchen items are properly stocked, transporting food from the kitchen to the cafeteria, and prepping fruit, vegetables, and salad bar items.

Qualifications:

• Requires great communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates desire and develops skill in ability to effectively operate within team
• Capable of performing repetitious activities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Teamwork oriented and engaging
• Able and willing to train and perform on a hot food cooking line
• Flexible schedule availability; willing to work holidays and weekends
