Job description
Prerequisites for applicants:
- Enjoy cycling/ proficient mountain biker
- Previous experience as a camp counselor and/or experience working with children.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Completion of online and local in-person training.
- July 10th-12th: Beginner ages 7-10
- July 17th-29th: Beginner ages 11-13
- July 24th-26th: Intermediate/Advanced ages 7-10
- July 31st-August 2nd: Intermediate/Advanced ages 11-13
- Camp runs 9-1 Monday-Wednesday
- You will also be required to attend an in-person orientation training with your local camp manager.
- Note: we will consider those who can only work in one location.
What the role entails:
- Reporting to the local lead counselor and camp manager.
- Working with another member of the team to run all aspects of camp based on our curriculum, which includes
- Teaching individual skills modules
- Running games
Leading skills application rides
- Assisting the lead counselor at check in every day
- Setting up and cleaning up every day
- Reporting to your lead counselor about any group changes that need to be made
- Ensuring a SAFE and fun environment for all
