Job description

We are looking to expand our team, and are seeking experienced Caregivers to care for the seniors in our community. Our model of care focuses on providing a nurturing home where we build strong relationships with every resident. We are trusted to provide the best possible care and deliver it with professionalism in a safe environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills
• Performing light housekeeping duties (e.g., laundry)
• Providing bathing and minimal dressing assistance
• Keeping proper care records and reporting changes to nursing team
• Encouraging socialization and participation in community activities
• Following resident care plan
• Communicating with families, co-workers and supervisors regarding care
• Assisting residents down to the dining room, or to activities
• Other general daily needs

Requirements:

Reliable transportation, good communication skills, and able to pass appropriate background check/reference verification. Must be able to work without direct supervision. Must be patient, professional and hard working. Must have a positive and caring attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
