Carpenter
Associated Housewrights is a residential design-build firm performing new home, addition, and remodel projects for south-central Wisconsin clientele.
Emphasis is placed on both a thorough design process and a refined construction experience delivered by a personable and professional staff.
Housewrights is always keen to meet talented residential design-build professionals interested in joining their team and are now actively seeking Carpenters. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working on remodel and new home construction projects. Candidates should hold themselves to high performance standards and enjoy being challenged to improve within the context of a supportive work environment.
To receive consideration candidates should be familiar with and productively able to perform general labor, demolition and carpentry functions associated with residential construction and remodeling. Some experience in framing or exterior trim & finish or interior trim & finish carpentry is required.
This is a full-time, site-based, bags-on position. Ideal candidates:
- should be willing and physically capable of performing residential carpentry tasks at residential heights (≤ 35') and in our upper midwest climate (within reason).
- should be a proficient problem solver and prefer variety in their work assignments.
- should be highly self motivated and capable of working both independently and as a member of a team.
- should be capable of cheerfully persisting through the challenging work flow often accompanying the remodeling process.
- should be committed to delivering a quality end product and happy clients.
- should have a working familiarity with the allied trades.
- should have a working knowledge of the Wisconsin UDC.
- should be comfortable with basic communication technologies (mobile, email, etc) is required.
Initial earning potential expected to fall within $40k - $56k but is not limited to such.

A high school degree is preferred.
