We are seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Taking measurements and drawing up plans for proposed work.
• Preparing estimates and undertaking site visits.
• Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations.
• Installing wooden structures such as rafters, partitions, joists and stud work.
• Designing and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation.
• Installing flooring such as tile, wood and vinyl.
• Setting tubs and wet beds.
• Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures.
• Selecting lumber by size and strength to suit each job.
• Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in carpentry or other related field.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong desire to be a better carpenter tomorrow than you are today.
• Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team.
