Want more home time? Want an automatic transmission truck? Are you a Class A CDL truck driver? This CDL job is a regional run that will have home weekly and running regionally in Texas and the Midwest. Sometimes you may have a run to the Northeast or Southeast if the need arises. You will be running between 2500 and 3000 miles each week. You will be hauling freight in an International LT with APU, and Inverter and the freight is 100% no-touch. You can expect to earn $1,500-$1,800 per week for experienced drivers. Class A CDL truck drivers for this regional run will need to have at least 6 months of experience.

Job Details

Pay and home time: We offer our Class A CDL truck drivers weekly home time for more time with your family. You will be running a regional area and will be in the truck 5-7 nights per week then home for your weekly reset. You will be paid by direct deposit every week and the average pay is $1,500 to $1,800 per week.

Duties: As a Class A CDL Truck Driver you will be hauling general freight throughout Texas, the Midwest, some Northeast, and some Southeast. No endorsements are needed. Our freight is 100% no-touch freight with 50-60% being drop and hook. You can expect to run about 2500-3200 miles per week and will be paid for all miles loaded or empty. The truck must be parked at the local terminal for home time.

Hook and unhook trailers from tractor, pushing, pulling and cranking lever to raise and lower landing gear on semi-trailers. Ensure that all shipping documents required to move with the load is available for inspection and that the correct paperwork accompanies the shipment when delivered. Report any delays in delivering the shipment. Report all accidents involving you or company equipment.

Equipment Details: International trucks with automatic transmissions. All trucks are equipped with APU's. Our Elog system is Platform Science and works as a phone. Trucks are well maintained with aerodynamic wheels and bobtail skirts to help you earn a monthly fuel bonus. we have a contract with Penske so if the truck breaks down you can keep running freight to your next stop.

Orientation: Joining our team as a Class A CDL Truck Driver, we provide travel to orientation by flight or bus (depending on distance), hotel room, and breakfast and lunch are provided. We have orientation on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Application Procedure: The first step is a phone interview to determine if you qualify for the position, then you will be referred to the hiring manager to complete all paperwork needed. Once you have been officially offered the position we will set up a date for you to travel to our home office to complete the onboarding process.

Qualifications:

• Class A License (CDL-A)
• Current DOT medical card
• 6 months of Tractor Trailer experience in the last year or 1 year in the last 3 years
• Hiring solo drivers and pre-made teams
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
• Able to maintain electronic log books
