Our client is looking for 1st Shift CDL Driver that is equipped to drive their Freightliner with 53’ trailer and their box truck. Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers on specific route; reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional service to our customers.

You will be home each night! Routes are run Monday thru Friday, with an occasional weekend run. Set routes are within a 3 hour radius from Peosta.

Essential Functions:

• Load product onto trucks according to company’s specifications and customer orders.
• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing and report any maintenance issues.
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
• Obtain delivery confirmations from customer.
• Maintain a positive and professional representation of Premier Tooling & Manufacturing, LLC
• Properly clean trucks & trailers.
• Assist in the warehouse department when there are no driving tasks needed.
• In addition to listed duties, management reserves the discretion to add or modify the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Skills:

• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of Word and Excel computer software.
• Knowledge of DOT policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to keep a log book.

Experience and Education:

• High school diploma ( or GED or high school equivalence certificate ).Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Must have 2 years previous tractor trailer driving experience

• CDL A (Required)
