CEMENT LOADOUT UTILITY - Pennsuco Cement Plant

Titan Florida has an opening for a Cement Loadout Utility in the Cement Division. This wage non-exempt position is assigned to the Production Department. The Cement Loadout Utility will provide inspection, lubrication, manual labor, measure cement silos, cover operator when necessary and will address material flow problems to sustain production requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide inspection, lubrication, manual work on a daily basis.
• Must be able to work in confined and/or hot environments as needed.
• Complete daily reports on equipment throughout the plant.
• Inspect and keep the equipment being operated, clean and safe.
• Operate locomotive for the loading of cement rail cars
• Respond to Loadout Weighmaster to resolve problems throughout the Cement Loadout and cement silos.
• Communicate and maintain decorum over a two-way radio.
• Report equipment breakdowns to generate Work Orders.
• Must safely operate mobile such as forklifts, bobcats, overhead cranes.
• Must receive training in any unfamiliar equipment operation.
• Maintain Plant housekeeping and safety initiatives.
• Could be assig to other areas of the plant during mayor equipment shutdowns.
• Resolve material flow problems throughout the Loadout.
• Must provide assistance to Mechanics and Electricians as necessary.
• Collect samples from Cement Loadout product line as necessary.
• Any duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 94 lbs.
• Must be capable of heavy physical labor work.
• Ability to work with others.
• Must be available for overtime as required
• Must be comfortable working in high places and confined spaces
• Safety minded.
• Familiarity with hand and pneumatic tools a plus.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Have a current driver’s licenses.
• Able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk or hear.
• High School diploma or GED; or 3 or more years related experience and/or training.

Shift: Rotating Shifts as required.
