Shift Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Pay Rate: $ 16.75 per hour

Summary: The Central Receiving Clerk “CRC” accepts and processes all deliveries received at the plant. They ensure that the shipments are inspected, verify that the items received match the packaging slips, and sort the items received by intended recipient. The CRC is responsible for notifying the applicable department of items received and/or distribute the inbound items. They need to keep up with invoices to make sure orders are correct.

Central Receiving Clerk Responsibilities: The CRC’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Receiving and signing for deliveries.
• Inspecting and unloading deliveries from trucks.
• Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria.
• Examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and communicates issues with stakeholders.
• Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
• Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists.
• Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas.
• Updating inventory with received items.
• Keys information into computer /SAP.
• Communicating with Ok Foods Procurement and vendors regarding delays or problems.
• Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.
• Delivers miscellaneous materials
• Comply with all plant safety and food safety policies and guidelines.
• This is a safety sensitive position

To be successful as a CRC you should be able to inspect deliveries with great attention to detail and be in good physical condition to lift and move heavy items. Ultimately, a top receiving clerk should be able to ensure efficient receiving processes and promptly resolve any problems or discrepancies.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities

Central Receiving Clerk Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations
• Physical dexterity and experience operating forklifts.
• Computer skills and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs.
• Basic math skills.
