THERAkids, P.C. is the largest contract company in southwestern Illinois that provides occupational, physical and speech therapy services to special education cooperatives and school districts. We are currently hiring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants for East Saint Louis, IL and surrounding area. This is a school-based position for the upcoming 2023-24 school year. The chosen candidate must be a graduate of an accredited and approved Occupational Therapy Assistant education program, holding a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license, and will assist with providing OT services to students under supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include:

• Under the supervision of an occupational therapist, implement appropriate occupational therapy services to support the goals and objectives of a student’s IEP.
• Monitors student’s response to intervention and consult with the occupational therapist if modification is indicated.
• Maintain student records (e.g. progress reports, service logs) to ensure compliance with state, federal and district guidelines.
• Records billable treatment times and provides documentation for students receiving MEDICAID according to school district guidelines.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (teaching staff, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, social work, psychologists, administrators) to address students' needs through training and consultation.

Experience is preferred but not required. Current Illinois license is required. Hours are flexible and salary is competitive! Come join our amazing team!
