ProCare Therapy is currently looking for a CSN or RN candidate to work with a school district near King City, California. This is a great opportunityfor the upcoming school year with a strong level of support on staff! See details below.
Job Type:
- Typical duties include:
- support for classroom inquiries (e.g., student has rash, student has fever)
- attention to 2 Gabilan classrooms with students who are medically fragile/chronically ill
- health assessments for IEPs
- participation in some IEP meetings
- documentation of services and staff training
- training for staff on specialized physical health care needs (i.e., med administration, g-tube, seizure monitoring)
- State reporting (i.e., immunizations)
- vision and hearing screenings of students
- Position doesnotrequiring driving to all sites on a daily basis
- Currently 110 students, majority of whom do not require medical attention
Qualifications:
- Credentialed School Nurse (CA)
- Current CSN credential holderOR BSN and willingness to apply to CTC for preliminary credential
- 5 years to complete 24 units
