About the company:
Grove Christian School enters its 45th year of providing Christ-centered education for over 450 students in pre-school through high school for the 2023 - 2024 school year. As a leadership academy for Christ, teachers are devoted to providing an excellent, engaging educational experience with a distinct Christian worldview. The mission to work in concert with the Lord in equipping students as servant leaders to impact the world around them is what draws and keeps an excellent staff to our school in suburban Richmond, VA.

Over 100 new applications have been received for the 2023 - 2024 school year! This growth requires new faculty members who are called to a mission greater than themselves and want a Christ-centered and collaborative work environment where they can flourish as instructional leaders.

Job Responsibilities: Full-Time position teaching Middle School Mathematics. Teachers willing to teach STEM classes enhance their applications. Coaching experience is a plus.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will hold the following qualifications:

• Must be a born-again Christian whose lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience to God and the Holy Scriptures, and express agreement with the doctrinal viewpoints and Christian lifestyle requirements of the school.
• Must faithfully attend a local church whose beliefs are consistent with the school’s Articles of Faith.
• Must be able to serve as a positive Christian role model to others in the GCS school community.
• Hold at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Hold state teaching credentials or ACSI teaching certificate or be eligible to obtain an ACSI certificate.
• Successful experience teaching Middle School or High School students.
• Ability to maintain an effective classroom environment.
• Must possess sufficient biblical knowledge that enables the teacher to integrate Scripture into subjects taught.
• Must enjoy working with young people.
• Proficiency in computer and technology applications necessary for the teaching profession.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 per year
