Required Degree: Master's Degree in a related field. Required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience: Demonstrate competence in teaching Latter-day scripture, doctrine, and/or history to college-age students.
In a cover letter, candidates should describe their qualifications for-and interest in-teaching the Foundations of the Restoration course, including academic training, past teaching experience, and other evidence of competency and proficiency for teaching the course. Information about the course aims and outcomes can be found in the BYU catalog at Rel C 225 Foundations of the Restoration.
Duties/Expectations: Teach assigned classes in Church History & Doctrine (Rel C 225 Foundations of the Restoration; and/or Rel C 324, 325, 341, 342, 343); consult with students on course related matters.
