Pillar Innovations is now accepting applications for a Wireless Services Civil Technician I.
- Safely and efficiently complete equipment installations, repairs and upgrades (i.e., compound expansions, earthwork, trenching, installing electrical conduits, grounding systems, tower modifications, etc.)
- Utilize heavy equipment (i.e. excavators, skid steers, bulldozers, etc.) and hand tools to build customer infrastructure
- Document job costs, including labor hours and material in an accurate and timely manner
- Complete physical material inventory upon delivery
- Assist with documentation and other paperwork as required
- Accurately follow instructions and completing assigned course of action in accordance with scope of work and methods of procedures (MOPs)
- Observe and report possible defects or hazards in equipment and work site
- Learn to read and understand site documents such as Scopes of Work, Construction Drawings, Tower Modification Design Drawings, etc.
- Perform pre-work and post-work site audits
- Lean to identify, troubleshoot, and correct equipment and network functionality
- Execute rigging plans
- 0- 1 year of experience working in Commercial or Industrial Construction
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Ability to successfully obtain certifications such as: ANSI A10.48 Rigging Certification, Capstan Operations, RF Awareness, OSHA 10, First Aid, and CPR and other certifications as required
- Ability and attitude to follow rigid job safety standards and properly utilize specialized Personal Protective Equipment
- Willingness to take on and learn new tasks and skills
- Ability to work effectively as an individual or a member of a team
- Willingness to work in extreme environmental conditions
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English is required

Walk, crawl or kneel / use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls / reach with hands and arms / climb ladders, stairs, or other elevated/ fixed structures for extended periods of time- Sit/stand for extended periods of time
- Lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Perform duties on-site and underground at industrial locations
- Wear safety equipment: as per OSHA/MSHA/ANSI requirements including but not limited steel toed and/or metatarsal shoes, hard hat, required PPE for elevated work, fire retardant clothing, protective eye wear, etc.
- Be safety and customer-focused, without exception

This position requires the completion of a thorough background check including employment and education verification, SSN eVerify, employment references, and pre-employment drug screening.
