Nikola Energy is looking for a highly talented and experienced Incentives Analyst.

This is a cross functional role supporting Nikola’s Senior Manager of Environmental Credits in quantifying incentive value across Nikola’s vehicle manufacturing, hydrogen production, infrastructure development and fuel dispensing business units. This role will have high connectivity across the organization and own valuation of incentives as a determining factor in the total cost of ownership (TCO) for Nikola vehicles.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical and quantitative skills to identify incentive opportunities from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and other incentive programs that benefit the deployment of Zero Emissions Vehicles and fueling infrastructure.

To be successful in this position you will have excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously and be a team player. You will have the ability to juggle multiple tasks while being adaptable and flexible within a fast-paced environment to get the job done.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work along Environmental Credits Analyst, Energy Finance, Infrastructure team, grants team, manufacturing, and business development to quantify IRA and other incentives across business functions
  • Key conduit to Nikola business functions and management of consolidated incentive value on TCO
  • Research Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and other federal and state level incentive programs for opportunities
  • Manage relationship with third party information providers
  • Quantify zero emission vehicle regulations such as: Advanced Clean Trucks, Advanced Clean Fleets, EPA and NHTSA emissions regulations, and federal and state level NOx regulations.
  • Support the development of customer facing marketing material
