Overview:
Responsible for the daily cleaning of production equipment. Maintain a clean work area. This is a 2nd shift position. We are offering a sign-on bonus of $1000
Responsibilities:
- Maintains daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Documents daily waste report.
- Cleans flour sifter daily, inspects, records findings, then signs flour sifter inspection sheet.
- Cleans mixer, cutter, pre-dryer, finish dryer, and storage dryers daily using proper GMP’s.
- Mops downstairs, cleans bathrooms, and cleans and mops lunchroom weekly.
- Sweeps production area daily.
- Follow GSO’s and other policies designed to improve safety.
- Ensures compliance to quality, food safety and HACCP support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer, and government standards in work area.
- Burn dryers as scheduled.
- Ensures compliance with preventive controls as laid out in Food Safety Plan.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Relieves packers for breaks- Works the package line when needed
- Assist with other assignments as directed.
- Assist with Master Sanitation Schedule.
- Empty trash cart as time permits.
- Assist with cleaning other areas of building and grounds.
- Inspect, and report any repairs needed on equipment while cleaning.
- Report any insect sightings to IPO or management.
- Must be dependable, reliable, and able.
- Have the ability to keep plant clean and orderly.
- Must be able to withstand heat and lift 50 lbs.
- Must be flexible with start and end times.
- Must be physically fit and be able to fit into tight spaces.
- Works in a manufacturing environment where employee may be required to speak, read, stand, walk, reach, lift and bend while performing job duties.
- Must be able to stand for a standard 8-10 hour shift, with regular breaks performing repetitive work. Overtime and/or weekend work may be required.
- Earplugs, hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), shirt apparel with no buttons or pockets are required in plant in accordance with company GMP and safety standards.
