Raise Workforce has partnered with a high technology company that offers production solutions for machine tools, laser technology, and electronics. In this role, you will be cleaning a used machine that has been bought back to be refurbished. You will be required to unpack and clean the machine while assisting in re-assembly and packing.

This is a great job for someone with an industrial or commercial cleaning background, who has high attention to detail and takes a lot of pride in a job well done. During downtime, you will get to work alongside experienced mechanics to assist them with more basic tasks under close guidance and supervision.

You will be doing…

• Disassembling machines and removing sheet metal cover pieces using wrenches, pliers and/or screwdrivers
• Cleaning machines using solvents, rags, and brushes to get into small areas.
• Reassembling of machines
• Assist in packaging of machines for shipment
• Assist technicians as needed
• Work as part of a team and/or independently with minimal supervision as required
• During downtime working, partnered with an experienced mechanic and help with more basic tasks

Why this is the right job for you…

• Previous experience in an Industrial or Commercial cleaning environment
• Familiarity with the use of mechanics hand tools like wrenches, pliers, and screwdrivers
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, repetitively
• Must be able to cooperate and communicate effectively.
• Able to commit to schedule, reliable transportation to and from site
• Willingness to ask questions and work safely at all times
• Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing and Criminal Record Check is required
