As a Clinical Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. You must be able to immobilize and simulate treatment fields provided by treatment planning and Radiation Oncologist instructions, and position patients in accordance with patient setup. Additionally, you will prepare the room and provide education to patients while adhering to hospital-wide customer service programs. You will also be responsible for maintaining complete and accurate patient records, reviewing each patient's chart, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Prior acute care experience is required
• Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) accredited radiography program or equivalent
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or equivalent
• Current New York State License in Radiologic Technology
• Current registry in the A.R.R.T.
• Specialized skill: License and registered in Radiotherapy
• Experience preferred
• Continuing education requirements to meet the standards
