The Job

Stack Education is seeking an empathetic and thoughtful Clinical Research Coordinator or Associate (CRC/CRA), Specialist, or above, who has a passion for teaching individuals the ins and outs of managing clinical trials as a CRC or CRA. Our students have diverse backgrounds, in every sense of the word, from working professionals to recent college graduates who seek to transition into careers in clinical research or adjacent positions. Our Lead Instructor works with students in and outside of class to help ensure they understand the fundamentals & skills, while reporting back to the Program Team so we can better serve our students.

Our Clinical Trial Management Program:

Stack Education’s CTM course, which we run in collaboration with our university and corporate partners, focuses on teaching the skills, regulations, protocols, ethics, and technologies necessary to succeed as a CRC or CRA, including the fundamentals of Good Clinical Practices, clinical site management, site monitoring, and more.

What You Will Do

• Teach twice-weekly class, with some lesson-planning time and office hours, and weekly support meetings with the program administrators.

• Study the provided, robust lecture content, notes, and exercises, and add your own spin.

• Identify students who need intervention or support, and plan when/how you'll support them during class.

• Present material and lead exercises, focusing on providing supportive and actionable feedback.

• Maintain a welcoming, engaged, and collaborative classroom culture.

• Work with TAs to ensure that students are getting what they need to absorb material, practice new skills, and receive feedback.

• Send updates on students to the program operations team, including assessing student strengths and weaknesses, and highlighting individual students in need of extra support.

What Makes You a Great Fit (Requirements)

• 4+ years of experience working in Clinical Trials, preferably with a history as a CRC or CRA, or equivalent experience.

• A genuine interest in teaching and helping others. Teaching/mentoring experience preferred.

• A positive attitude, with patience and empathy.

• Passionate about inclusivity and diversity.

• Able to manage a classroom with varied skill levels and backgrounds.

• Willing to adapt to changing student needs and curriculum updates.

• Able to deliver and blend broad soft-skill coaching as well as granular technical coaching.

• Must be available when classes meet online Monday and Tuesday evenings, 6:30pm-9:30pm Eastern Time. (There may be opportunities for daytime class hours as well.)
